Getting an Estimate
Get an accurate estimate from one of our knowledgeable customer service representative in four easy steps.
STEP 1: Calculate the dimensions of the area you want sodded.
For rectangular areas: Measure the length and width of the area in feet with a measuring wheel. If you don't have a measuring wheel, you can pace it off, assuming one pace is three feet.
For circular areas: Measure the rectangle around the circular area.
Multiply: Length and the width to get the total square footage. For example: length = 24'; width = 40'; therefore 24' x 40' = 960 sq.ft.
Subtract: Square footage of flower beds and shady areas where sod will not grow, from the total area. For example: unsoddable area = 25 sq.ft. 960 - 25 = 935 sq. ft.
Add: 10% for cutting in along the flowerbeds and driveways. For example: 935 + 93.5 = 1028.5 sq.ft.
